So. Angel needs a notebook, being a lady of leisure self-employed individual now, and I’m busy looking around to see what is available. We don’t need anything hectic or state of the art.

Then, last night we quickly pop in at Exmi’s place, and the two of them disappear upstairs. After a while my curiosity gets the better of me and I ask them what they are up to? So they tell me. Exmi is trying to convince Angel to rather get herself a Macbook.

Here’s my problem. I don’t know Macbook. I’ve never used it. And it’s a tad more expensive than a normal PC would have been.

So, is it worth the expense? It seems that everybody who has turned to Mac, won’t ever go back. I however need a bit more convincing.

What are you waiting for?

Convince me.

The wedding was great fun, spent with awesome people. Too bad that I could not get to spend quality time with everybody, but there is only so many hours in an evening.

There are pictures and blog posts aplenty, and the general feedback that I received was that everybody had a great time. The photo booth was of course a big hit. And, we received received all the pictures taken in the booth, whether they were put in the guest book or not. (Blackmail letters will be posted in due course).

My WIFE looked beautiful. My WIFE still is.

I’m back at work. Still not quite into it, but getting there. I think I need a holiday.

Talking about work, I need to get back to it.

Later.

Yip. Only 11 days till I’m married to one of the most awesome people I’ve ever met. Angel.

I’m really looking forward to the wedding, especially because we’ll be spending it with so many of our friends, some even traveling all the way from Cape Town and Durban to share the day with us.

Exiting time also awaits us after the wedding. And, no, I’m not just talking about the honeymoon.

Angel is entering a new phase in her life, finally getting to do things that she always wanted to do but never could. And I know she’s terrified, and stressed, but I know she’ll be successful. And with her being at home, I might even pop in for “lunch” every now and then…..

So, good times ahead, with some stress mixed in, but ultimately great reward.

At least life is not boring.

Well, firstly, it’s quite tough trying to get your life and contacts back when your laptop computer and blackberry gets stolen. The blackberry I can still live with, but not having a computer is tough. Hopefully I’ll have a new one by next week.

Secondly, things have changed quite dramatically for me on the work front. Things have a gone a tad pear shaped in my previous company after selling it. This meant me starting to look for other alternatives. This in turn meant me getting involved with three new businesses, while still having to pay some attention and time at the old business. So to say I’m a tad worn out and stressed would be an understatement. LOL

So, hopefully things will be back on track shortly and I’ll be able to pay more attention to all my online (and offline) friends.

But until then……..I need to run. See you later.

Dear Friend

Greetings in the name of God,Pls let this not sound strange to you for my only surviving lawyer who would have done this died early this year.i prayed and got you email id from your countrys christian guestbook which i have been with my late husband and liked to visit once more if God will in his infinite mercies.

I am Mrs. Anita Williams from London I am 58 years old,i am suffering from a long time cancer of the lungs which also affected my brain, from all indication my conditions is really deteriorating and it is quite obvious that, according to my doctors they have advised me that i may not live for the next two months, this is because the cancer stage has gotten to a very bad stage.

I was brought up from a motherless babies home was married to my late husband for twenty years without a child ,my husband died in a fatal motor accident Before his death we were true Christians.Since his death I decided not to re-marry,I sold all my inherited belongings and deposited all the sum of 10million dollars with a First Inland Bank.

Presently, this money is still with them and the management just wrote me as the true owner to come forward to receive the money for keeping it so long or rather issue a letter of authorization to somebody to receive it on my behalf since I can not come over because of my illness or they will get it confisticated.

Presently, I’m with my laptop in a hospital in switzerland where I have been undergoing treatment for cancer of the lungs. my doctors have told me that I have only a few months to live.It is my last wish to see that this money is invested to any organisation of your choice and distributed each year among the charity organization, the poor and the motherless babies home.

I want you as God fearing person, to also use this money to fund churches, orphanages and widows,I took this decision, before i rest in peace because my time will so on be up.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the First Inland Bank.I will also issue you a letter of authority that will prove you as the new beneficiary of my fund.

Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein.

You are requested to send to me the following information to enable me use it to write a Letter of Authorization on your behalf to the bank so that they will release the money to you as my new next of kin.

The weekend already started with a bang on Friday with Angel & I going for our weekly dancing lessons. We usually dance on a Wednesday night but had to postpone to Friday due to a delivery of 200 cupcakes to Warmbaths! When we got home Angel got going on baking and icing more cupcakes for all the Saturday orders. (Visit http://www.angelscupcakes.co.za for a yummy look!)

On Saturday morning we loaded up my car to deliver some cupcakes in Hatfield, Pretoria. I think I should start putting some cupcakes signs on my bakkie! From there we took the 1 hour drive (which turned out to be a 2 hour drive to Meyerton to go and visit my sister before she leaves for a year to go and work on a cruise ship in the Carribean.

We could only spend a few hours there and then had to rush back to Bryanston in the North of Johannesburg. We were off to see Meryl who needed somebody to house sit her place and her mutitude of animals while they are away. We graciously volunteered Damien for the job, and he graciously accepted.

Sunday morning we went to visit SheBee at her pad, to go and pickup the two new members of our family, Diva and Turk. They are two cute kittens that will fit in perfectly with our family. The 3 boys, especially Magic, however were not very impressed with the new additions, hissing at each other through the door (We are keeping the little ones seperate for the time being).

Once the kittens were set and secure Angel and I were off to the shops to eat and to find Angel a hat. Yes, a hat. We had a Mad Tea Party to attend that afternoon. It was great fun. After the Tea Party, a hundred people dressed in funny hats made their way to The Zone at Rosebank to watch the 3D movie, Alice in Wonderland.

I enjoyed the movie, though my eyes still get’s tired from looking at too much 3D stuff.

When we finally got home Sunday night, I went straight to bed.

And here I am now.
